The biggest ingredient is your knowledge of God and His will towards you
One of the main flaws in people’s belief system is regarding the love God has for them.
This flaw is a natural response to God, because the natural man is in conflict to God. Romans 8:7-8… The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
However this lack of knowing that God loves you is specially amplified if a Christian has any rejection in their past, for them it is hard to believe that God loves them and wants the best for them.
This rejection struggle is what is addressed here…
Normally these Christians have a rejection of self due to them walking in the flesh and feeling so bad, they may even feel like they are a hopeless case, that God can’t love them. Or because of past wounding they feel they are not worthy of being loved, God would be crazy to love me.
If you struggle with this problem this is exactly how to fix it, realise its God’s prerogative and if He wants to love you there is nothing you can do about it, sure you don’t deserve it (no one does) but He wants to love you and does. It is His choice, you can’t control His choices!
God sees a much bigger picture than you do, He knows the plans He has for you and Him together a trillion years in the future, He always knew you would be a sinner that’s why the first creation of God was Christ, the one who will buy you back from sin – that there shows God has always known and loved you.
Not only does He love you, He desires you to prosper and be in good health. He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Christ and gives you all things adding to life and godliness. This is only a fraction of the favour, blessing and grace God has towards you.
If only you knew you would rise up out of this pit and walk in the amazing wonder of His love. Make it your goal to know His love; Ephesians 3:18-19 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
The religious spirit loves operating around rejection to create a performance based faith, which in turn creates further rejection, this vicious cycle comes from a lack of knowledge of God’s love, grace, favour and His longing (loving desire) for you to prosper.
Whether you believe it or not God is love, in him there is no darkness… the scripture says love is like this…….1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
So God is like this towards you whether you think he should be or not, He is patient towards you, kind towards you, He will not dishonour you, He always protects you, Trusts you. Hopes in you, and perseveres towards you. His love never fails you.
The bible says God is love and God is light, and in Him there is no darkness (evil), He is not distant and mean, sure he has placed you in a world where you need to overcome with Faith, Hope and Love, but His desire towards you is always for your good, blessing, freedom, life, prosperity and health.
Through other means you maybe sick, bound, undone, tormented and and abused. Know this that God loves you and His desire is for your blessing and not against you. You may be doing evil things that God hates, He hates that these things are happening but He loves you and wants the best for you and through you. He longs for you to be free from the enemies grip and for you to overcome through Faith, Hope and Love (those three things are the purpose of life on earth, they are the foundation to a relationship, and must be free willed)
Come to see your heavenly father in a new light, He loves you, you are His treasure and there is simply nothing you can do about it.
A good place to start is talk to Him about this love that He has towards you, if you think He is crazy having this love tell Him so, but at the end of your chat make sure you come to the conclusion that you accept His love, and desire for you to prosper and be in good health.
Keep sowing the unearned love and favour into your identity, it will remove half the faith blocks that we struggle with in this Christian walk.
