Jesus Christ vs Christ Jesus<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the difference between Jesus Christ and Christ Jesus<\/span><\/p>\n

If we are to take on Christ identity we are to make a small differentiation or we will cross boundary not meant to be crossed. We need to be careful as we can not separate the Lord Jesus Christ and carve Him up in segments<\/span>. The closest we can come to that is saying He became flesh and dwelt\u00a0amongst\u00a0us <\/strong>John 1:14<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anything you can find of Christ is true of us, be sure to make a distinction between the man ‘Jesus’ and godhead part ‘Christ’, as Jesus is the man part and Christ is the godhead part, Jesus opens the seals, Jesus is the high priest, Jesus paid for the sins of mankind, Jesus is the lamb of God, Jesus is the king of kings, Jesus overcame.<\/span><\/p>\n

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Eph 4:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The bible distinguishes between emphasising the God part (the son of God, spirit) as Christ Jesus and the man part as Jesus Christ (the son of man, soul).\u00a0In regard to us in the spirit its always Christ, Christ, not Jesus but Christ the God part!<\/span><\/p>\n

If you look at the scripture again you will see we are not the body of Jesus but the body of Christ, Jesus doesn’t live in me, but Christ does, Jesus is my brother but Christ is my God,<\/span><\/p>\n

So we do not take on the soul identity of the man Jesus but of Christ, we do not get holes in our hands and feet, we do not open the seals, we are kings but He is the king of kings. That all said the Lord Jesus Christ is not separated, He is one not two, He is the man God, the God man. God as a man, Almighty God put on flesh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus Christ is Lord, and we are to hide in Him, in His Christ life and take on His Christ identity,\u00a0 we have the mind of Christ, hidden in Christ. See if you can spot the differences in these scriptures that mention both.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul, an apostle of\u00a0Jesus Christ<\/span>\u00a0by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in\u00a0Christ Jesus<\/span>\u00a0(2 Tim 1:1)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Paul, an apostle of\u00a0Jesus Christ<\/span>\u00a0by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in\u00a0Christ Jesus<\/span>: (Eph 1:1)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Paul and Timotheus, the servants of\u00a0Jesus Christ<\/span>, to all the saints in\u00a0Christ Jesus<\/span>\u00a0which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: (Phil 1:1)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in\u00a0Christ Jesus<\/span>, called to be saints, with all that in every place call on the name of\u00a0Jesus Christ<\/span>\u00a0our Lord, both their’s and our’s: (1 Cor 1:2)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding our positioning there are 130 references to being “In Christ” and zero “In Jesus” (some bible versions have one or two scriptures around the other way).<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you starting to get it?<\/span><\/p>\n

There is the odd\u00a0scripture\u00a0here or there that confuses….. Why does it say then\u00a0<\/span>Put on the Lord Jesus Christ<\/strong>? It is simple, in the spirit we are Christ so we don’t need to put Christ on our spirit as He is our spirit, but we must change our outer man which is our thinking and identity, our souls gets sanctified and redeemed by hiding in the Lord Jesus Christ and His body. We are born again in the spirit but saved or sanctified in our souls.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Remember we only get anything from God by being immersed [baptised] in the Lord Jesus Christ, like Jacob we put on Esau’s [Jesus] skin and get His inheritance, for only one person will be saved from the earth and we in are hidden in Him (Col 3:1-4)<\/span><\/p>\n

Now with this new understanding go again and look at the scripture and be amazed…<\/span><\/p>\n

So you are no longer slaves but God’s children. Since you are God’s children, God has also made you heirs (Gal 4:7) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Rom 8:17)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So your a joint heir with Christ, who is Christ? He is God Almighty<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Col 1:15-17)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega,\u201d says the Lord God, \u201cwho is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.\u201d \u201cDo not be afraid; I am the first and the last. (Rev 1:8)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And the living One; and\u00a0I was dead<\/span>, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades . (Rev 1:18)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.\u00a0I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.<\/span>\u00a0Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.\u00a0I Jesus\u00a0<\/span>have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star (Rev 22:12-16)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And he said to me, It is done.\u00a0I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end<\/span>. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.\u00a0<\/span>He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his\u00a0God<\/span>, and he shall be my son. (rev 21:6-7)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What does it mean to be a joint heir with God Almighty the creator of the universe? It means you and I need to catch up and get our beliefs right, why are we such slow traffic, why are we stuck in the MUD?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
